Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has once again sparked speculation about his personal life after giving a public shout-out to RJ Mahvash, his rumoured girlfriend. Taking to Instagram Stories, Chahal shared a still from Pyaar Paisa Profit — Mahvash’s acting debut — and captioned it, “Fan boy after finishing Pyaar Paisa Profit.”
For those unfamiliar, RJ Mahvash recently stepped into the world of acting with the Amazon Prime Video and MX Player series, which also stars Neil Bhoopalam, Mihir Rajda, and Shivangi Khedkar.
Rumours surrounding Chahal and Mahvash began circulating during the cricketer’s divorce proceedings from Dhanashree Verma. The buzz picked up again after the duo was spotted enjoying a Champions Trophy match together in Dubai.
Chahal and Dhanashree, who tied the knot in December 2020 in Gurgaon, were once social media’s favourite couple. However, in February 2025, they were seen at Bandra Family Court, filing for divorce by mutual consent. Although they requested a waiver for the mandatory six-month cooling-off period, the court denied it.
After living apart for 18 months, the couple officially ended their marriage on March 20, 2025. Reports indicate Chahal paid ₹4.75 crore in alimony to Dhanashree.
Meanwhile, Dhanashree recently promoted her new music video, Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, on Instagram. But the comments section took a harsh turn, with many users trolling her over the alimony settlement and labeling her a “gold digger.”
